• To be aware of the SIRE programme and TMSA (2) standards for Tanker operators
• To understand the Vetting process and the key success factors for undergoing Vetting inspections successfully
• To be able to interact appropriately with Vetting Inspectors and follow up satisfactorily on observations made.

To all who are qualified a certificate is issued certifying that a trainee has met the requirements laid down in TANKER VETTING PROCESS according to the SIRE and TMSA requirements issued by OCIMF and INTERTANKO and best practice.
