This course comprises the functions at management and operational level as per STCW 2010. On successful completion of the training and assessment, trainees should be competent to carry out safely the watchkeepeing duties of Master or Chief Officer or an Officer of an Navigational Watch or a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer or Officer of Watch of Engine Room, both at sea and in port.

In particular, they will be fully conversant with the basic principles to be observed in keeping a navigational watch as per STCW Regulation VIII/2 and in STCW Code Chapter VIII.

Certificate
On successful completion of the course and demonstration of competence, a document will be issued certifying that the holder has met the standard of competence specified in the relevant requirements of HONDURA flag Administration as Master or Chief Officer or an Officer of an Navigational Watch or a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer or Officer of Watch of Engine Room, both at sea and in port.
